Description
This is the picture that Beatriz used as reference.....linkANGEL by
PS
Picture taken at Santa Tecla El Salvador.....the black BG is "natural"....it was almost noon.....so I exposed for the higlights.....so the elements on the BG were really underexposed....only use levels to darken it....and healed a few little bright spots.....plus more mork on PS CS2 to adjust the zones....and yes it is the same statue.
Canon Powershot Pro1
F8....Speed 1/1000.....ISO 50 No tripod
I do use a tripod sometimes...but many times I feel it takes away the freedom to compose......I do use it if my speed it s going to be slow or if a telephoto is used.

perhaps it would be cooler, if the background wouldnt be too black, i mean if there was a gradient, on the top right the bright part (maybe light + smoke) and on the bottom left the black part!

+10 I love the sculpture on the black. Usually, I tend to feel that taking pictures of sculpture defeats the purpose of the sculpture - it's already visually represented and should be viewed in person, in 3D. Though, you've added something to this sculpture it would not have alone. I think that is very important! The lighting here, is great. Taking a photo of sculpture and making it your own is hard to do. You are great haha.

I somehow managed to oversee this picture Carlos!
I am very sorry for being so late.
Not much more to add after all nice words have been said.
Very beautiful!

This touches my heart, and so do you. I pray for you.
The Angel is so beautifully enlightened. The light is always there to shine your way, where ever you go, God will follow you, and your map is always with you!
'Your word is a lamp to my feet. And a light to my path.'
Psalm 119:105
God Bless!
