Chest region looks like it's on the verge of being over-exposed on my monitor.

Sculptures can be so interesting when photographed. I love this one, it's like the best charcoal drawing ever Great work.

But who made the sculpture? This one is by a famous sculptor, right?

The way you've presented this Carlos ... it seems less like a statue and more like a moment in time.

Wonderful work!

Okay, this is an example of very good tonal range. Many people wash out the highlights or lose detail in the shadows. You've done a masterful job here. Looking under Mary's chin, you can still see the folds in the sculpture. And the brightest parts of the chest of Jesus, you can still make out the texture of the stone.

This is perfect. The choice to blacken out the background makes the figures stand out strongly. I can't say enough!

BTW, Carlos, is this black and white?

No Samson...The original is color....Thanks for the comment....I am posting a message to you.

Wow, this is really excellent! The light and exposure are perfect (IMO) and I really love the dark background. It lets the subject really take center stage. Nice work!

Great shot, you've captured the two figures really well. I must say that the lighting and DOF is spot on. The image really does evoke the emotion of a mother and her son.
