For a non-painter this is a very well done portrait Carlos. It's obvious that you have an artists eye from the subtle cast shadows that you have placed in this portrait. Great job on the eyes. Carlos, you did really well on this portrait. If I can make one small critique, it's his skin. I would go a bit darker as the photo shows a darker complextion. Also, his hair on my monitor looks a bit green. Otherwise it is still a wonderful artwork.

Nice work. I think you could improve on the hair, which seem to have not enough highlights. And be really careful not to make the skin tones inany way dirty or dead looking, which yours is not, but it goes into that direction. Martina
