Love how waves have carved interesting line work into sand. The blue near top is a great and mysterious color, but it personally it provides top with alot of pull, which makes lower portion seem not quite as interesting in this composition. Considering that the blue portion has a strong pull to it, perhaps to take advantage of that fact a 180 degree rotation may increase its' already pleasing features. Nice.

Nice work Carlos. I would crop a bit from the top where the right and middle sections come to a point to get a more abstract quality to it. Well done as usual.

Thanks to you all for the comments!.......I did consider and tried cropping, rotating and mirroring.....but I decided to stay with the natural view.
Thanks again!
And Martin777... the sand does get this blue at this hour ,this time of the year....the photoshop post processing was actually minimal.

Everything I'd say has been said of this image, but I wanted to chime in and give my due appreciation for your skill. Beautiful image - I like the abstract quality of this, in contrast to the majority of your work that I have seen. - jason

Makes for a stunning abstract - I couldn't quite figure this out, at first I thought it was some sort of material draped across the sand - now you explain it... I still can't work it out but it's beautiful.

Edit: just realised this reminds me of a blue whale...

Hi my friend, Really a wonderful abstract work. You do have a great eye for color and composition. This one works really well, Personally I like the way my eye is pulled up to the blue, Then I draw myself back to the rest of the photo. For me this just draws out the pleasure of the work. Fine work.

really a great photo!!!!
me produce muchas sensaciones visuales, desde una vista aerea hasta una imagen abstracta y cuando vi la miniatura, me parecieron alas.

Avatar chrisgraphics

This grey-purple theme on the gfxartist really undermines the potential of many pictures. An average neutral grey or a jet black would probably work better.
Anyway, the pic is great, but looks strange on this site's background colour, as i said.
