Description
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.Matthew 5:5
She is a descendant of the Mayas….she has lived in poverty all her life….but she is kind and gentle….and eager to talk to you about her life, she has lost 2 of her children…..and recently she lost the only tooth she had left.
My nanny was a true native American like her….She will always be alive in my mind.
Last year I took some pictures of her…I was very happy to meet her again.
Please see…..

Awesome quality!!
MAESTRO!!!!! Una excelente fotografía, ni que decirlo!! La expresión en el rostro es tan.. impresionante.. Simplemente genial.
Y a mi también me hace acordar a mi abuelita, que dulce recuerdo!
gracias por su arte, maestro.

Her wrinkles and her expression is very strong.
This woman has quite a history to tell.
The colors are really strong too.
I am curious why you used ISO400 for this setting? Want to learn the tricks...
Her eyes are soft which fits the mood!
Wish only (minor) that her cross would be not cut at its end.

Was awaiting ur post since a long time...
Its simply brilliant..Like the way the head tilting back portrays the 'meek' feeling.
And i remember the one tooth shot very well

Why ISO 400?.....well I was already using F6.3.....a larger aperture would render a depth of field too shallow....So I had to use ISO 400 to use a speed of 1/200......my old hands are not as steady as yours!...LOL
Corrected focal length 88 mm.
She was in the shadows and moved while she talked.
The eyes look soft because her eyelashes are conglutinated.
