Description
Chichontepec volcano, also known as San Vicente in SalvadorIt is a paired stratovolcano hence name "two breasts".(Chichontepec.....Nahuat for "Two Breasts".)
The eruptive history of San Vicente volcano is not well known.
There is no definitive record of historical eruptive activity.
The last significant eruption occurred more than 1,700 years ago.
It has a very long history of repeated, and sometimes violent, eruptions,
and at least once a large section of the volcano collapsed in a massive landslide.
An earthquake in 2001 generated landslides causing deaths, but reports of an eruption proved inaccurate.

Maybe have the background mountain top slightly off center in the composition.
Did you use a polarizer filter?

Do you understand/speak Nahuatl?
03/04/08 @999
Very few people speak it, only the few true native american still alive in El Salvador.......But there are some projects to rescue the language. I may in the future learn some.
