Description
"Earth, 114 million years ago, one morning just after sunrise: The first flower ever to appear on the planet opens up to receive the rays of the sun.Using the word “enlightenment” in a wider sense than the conventionally accepted one, we could look upon flowers as the enlightenment of plants."
Taken from the book “A new earth” by Eckhart Tolle.

Spot on ............everything !
If 10 photographers were given the same two flowers, i fear you will still make it in top 3 !!!

At the end it all comes down to just that, does it not?
Would really have liked to see the steps you took from your original photograph in order to end up with this. Maybe a step-by-step tutorial?
Although I still somehow find flowers a bit common subject you have done something interesting and delicate.
Looks like a painting!

It has a subtle gently kinda painting facture.
