Description

Conacaste Tree….
Tropical tree having a wide-spreading crown of bipinnate leaves and coiled ear-shaped fruits; grown for shade and ornament as well as valuable timber …very resistant for outdoors use….Enterolobium cyclocarpa….

This tree is on a slope on my backyard…it is about 15 m tall ( 45 feet )…..very soon it is going to loose all the leaves and later it will be covered with ear-shaped fruits….I love this tree…it is majestic and beautiful all the time…

Usually eremita post my works…but he is out taking pictures…so I did it myself…and realized how much quality is loss when the image is resize down from 2000 to 716….
The original is in color but I liked the way it looks on black and white…

Beautiful photo. How did you manage the perspective? It looks to me like it is a reflection taken in water? Could be my late night brain failure as well.

Great B&W mood, too! I still haven't managed one.

Nothing to really crit - a wondeful shot! - I just wonder as you mentioned the loss of detail if you used Elite robertmekis' sharpening technique? This often brings out details that would get lost while resizing.

You have done a great job with a rather common subject which is a sign of a great photographer. The lighting and composition are wonderful!
